Artificial Intelligence (AI) is particularly well-suited to enhance the Modular Academic and Relationship Development (MARD) strategy. By using machine learning algorithms, data analytics, and automated decision-making, AI could serve as the powerhouse behind the scenes, turning an already innovative educational model into an optimised, dynamically evolving system. Here’s how:
AI algorithms could analyse ongoing student assessments and engagement metrics to identify which modules within a subject are most effective. It could then reorder modules in real-time, adapting to the collective needs of a cohort or even to individual students.
For each module, teachers often have a variety of resources they can use. AI can suggest the most effective teaching materials based on the learning styles of the students in that particular group.

By offering a simplified dashboard that illustrates their child’s learning journey, AI could facilitate greater parental involvement, which is key for the success of any educational strategy.
AI could also suggest local resources or events related to Skill Houses or academic subjects, bringing the community into the educational loop.
In the context of the MARD strategy, AI could perform a role much like a highly efficient, always attentive assistant, constantly working behind the scenes to ensure that each student’s educational experience is as personalised and effective as possible. Through a combination of real-time analytics, adaptive learning pathways, and ongoing support for educators, AI could significantly enhance the ability of the MARD system to achieve its objectives of personalised, effective education.
