One day I was walking down the street and happened to meet an old lady. I could see that she wanted to cross the busy road, so I approached her and showed her where the pedestrian crossing was. I offered to take her there and carry her shopping across the road. When we reached the other side, she thanked me very much and invited me to tea. I agreed and she showed me where she lived. I said I would be delighted to come tomorrow, and then we said our goodbyes. |
